Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at revivalptandwellness@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We are a cash-based physical therapy service meaning that we require you to pay us directly for all services (we do not bill your insurance company). Insurance companies fight tooth and nail to take your premiums and deny reimbursement. When we use their money we have to play by their rules which means lower quality of service. Here at Revival we want YOU to be in charge: when you invest your time and resources into our services, you are going to receive a much higher quality of care that will be 100% what you want it to be.

You do have the option to submit our invoices to your insurance company for reimbursement after the fact. Insurance companies and individual plans vary immensely as far as what they will reimburse - it is always best to check with your insurance company before seeking any type of service. Many times, with private insurance (especially high deductible, lower premium plans) it is actually cheaper to receive services from a cash-based clinic rather than waiting to receive a huge surprise bill months after receiving physical therapy.

There is a time and place for all three of these treatment styles and there are many situations in which we might recommend you seek another service provider to supplement or replace what we are able to offer you. Physical therapy incorporates manual therapy which includes a more localized version of massage as well as joint mobilizations/manipulations which have the same end-result as chiropractic adjustments. The biggest difference in the end is that our goal at Revival is to identify the underlying cause of your problem and help you prevent it from recurring. If we have done our job right, you will get to the point where you no longer need us.

There are a lot of factors that influence how much physical therapy a person will need. Some factors that can potentially prolong the process are if the problem has been happening for a long time, if there are now multiple body parts involved, and if there are barriers preventing you from putting in the work outside of your physical therapy appointments. Usually, we have a better idea of how many visits you will need after we do the initial evaluation, but most people need to be seen for about 6-10 visits.
